I have this watch and love it! Just gave it to a smart powered-up woman exec. who's just born her second baby and will soon be heading back to a top-flight job. The timer helps plan for meetings as well as nursing, the Indiglo works in the middle of the night when the baby needs you, and the color fits in, even in the executive suite! [Not too masculine.] She agrees--it's a winner.

This is a good watch for an intermediate (my level) swimmer, cyclist or runner; not too complicated to use, big and clear numbers, soft resin made straps, big start/pause button and they are not hard to press, very nice and stylish design, the alarm is good, but it will not wake you up if you are really tired. The only complain I have is that it seems to be made for men with really thick wrists, or maybe mine are just under average. You see, I have to wear the watch with the pin in the second to last hole in the strap and even then it doesn't really fit. It is better when the weather is hot, otherwise it just moves towards my hand all the time.
Be careful with something, the warranty is void if you don't get it stamped by the seller. I brought up this issue to Amazon.com and they contacted the company to make sure the warranty was valid only with my receipt.

This watch fits the need for distance runners who run often and want to keep their times on the watch. The large numbers on the face are easy to read which is good when running with or without correctiv lenses. The buttons are good size and easy to navigate. The one major problem with this watch is the band. It is molded to the watch and therefore can not be replaced. I have had three of these watches and I had to replace the watch because the band broke. By still purchasing the same model, I still think it is a good buy.

Not much to say about this one. It gets the job done and has a nice night time feature which I use frequently.(indiglo stays on longer with any button press at night)

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the band is awkward to put on.(but i'm being really picky here) There's a little rubber tab sticking out at the end that gets in the way of adjusting it.(you'll see what I mean)

Overall you can't go wrong at this price.

So far this watch has worked out well for me. Its simple, easy to use and comfortable. I did not really need the directions to program the watch itself, but I do not use some of its more fancy alarm and lap meter functions. The watch itself is easy to read and the indiglo is also easy to read at night. I have not yet taken the watch into the water but I expect it to hold up well.

So far the watch is a pretty good watch but nothing overly exceptional either.

Overall, it's a stylish watch and fairly large. The buttons are large but unresponsive if you don't press the button all the way. For me, the strap/watch connection broke after 1 day of usage.

I recieved my watch actually a week before i expected to get it. It came in its original packageing and was in store quality shape. The look of the watch is standard ironman, to me its actually the best looking iron man watch i have seen. I own a number of other ironmans and this one is my favorite. Its been very durable so far, however i havent been on a long camping trip or kayaking trip since i purchased it. My only concerns was the words on the buttons do get scuffed off pretty easily, the screen though shown white in the pictures is the standard lcd screen of most watches, and lastly the indiglo light is not the strongest. Its a great looking, easily useable, and durible watch.

I've been wearing it for about three weeks now and the only complaint I have is that some of the print on the wrist part of the watch has worn off (this is where it says "50 Feet etc" I don't know what else it says since I can't read it). This watch is a nice basic lap-timer watch. It has all the functions
I use normally, and not a lot of bells and whistles.

I just bought my third one (I usually replace them every couple of
years when the battery wears out). I keep buying the same one because I'm really happy with this one.

This particular model has a plastic armband. It is pretty nice, but I did like the metal band better as the plastic band tends to stick ever so slightly to the skin.

I was looking for a chronograph for mountain biking, surfing, running, etc. If not all but certainly most chronographs are bulky, heavy, big, with too many colors, with the start and stop dial on the side of the watch instead of the face of the watch which makes it difficult to use especially when I am mountain biking to start or to stop the chronograph... Especially if you are a true sportsman and time is a matter of essence to you in breaking your own records in whatever sport that you are into... Even all the other Timexs are disturbing to me due to their design since they have too many colors and look bulky... This is the simplest design with the minimum amount of colors. I have owned Timexs before and they are truly an excellent product but after willing to spend few hundred dollars, to be able to get the right chronograph for my sports, with the right design and the right features for under $30 dollars, I just cannot express how happy I am thanks to Timex and Amazon... Simply Bravo.
