i always read all the amazon.com reviews, good and bad, when i'm researching a purchase. the reviews on this watch made it clear the thing would do exactly what i needed it to do and no more, no less. i don't NEED a GPS or a pedometer, i only need a chronometer and standard watch, to time splits and overall, up to 30 splits i think, so it's great for marathon training. it's [pretty] easy to navigate the screens while running, and certainly easy enough to read, even for an old metal head like me.
if you don't need the fancy bells and whistles, go for this one. [i know you don't need them, or you wouldn't be looking in this price range, now would you?]
