I bought the Ironman Sleek 150 with TapScreen technology mainly for the large watch face so that I can better see my times during workouts and races. I thought the tap technology would be cool too. However, I have now had the watch a little over a week and completed three swim works out with it on. During the workouts the watch, all on its own, recored several lap splits without me touching anything. I don't know if it is a flaw in the tap technology design or what, but if this happens during a triathlon it defeats the purpose of accuratly keeping track of your split times. I am also worried that the watch will at some point leak during a swim, due to this problem, and ruin the watch. I am very disappointed in this watch. I have always raced and trained with a Timex Ironman watch, and this is the only one I have had problems with. The fact that it cost $90 doesn't make me feel any better. The best thing about the watch is the large face and the sleek design, as well as the many functions, but the tap technology isn't working correctly for me. This is a brand new product and I should have waited and read reviews before I purchased it.

I love this watch. It looks and feels good on my arm. The band is flexible, comfortable and doesn't stick. The display is easy to read and the features are very intuitive. The watch only has 10 preset timers though, not 12 as listed in the description.

I only gave it two stars because I'm on my third one. The first two I bought from Amazon were defective. The indiglo nightlight stopped working within 48 hours on both watches. I returned both to Amazon. The third one I bought at Target. Same watch, just paid a couple of dollars more, because I didn't want to take the chance of getting another defective one from Amazon.

(((Update: Everything below is true, but the watch stopped controling my ipod after a month. This may not happen to you, but felt I needed to update my review. The watch still works fine.)))
I paid $40 for this cool looking watch, and it does all it supposed to, and it looks great. The ipod function is fantastic and works better than I had hoped. Changing songs and volume while at the gym was always a pain; it's so easy from the watch!
I was also happy that there's nothing to do to set it up. Just plug the wireless gizmo into your ipod and it's set, nothing else to do.
I like the light too. It lights the numbers instead of the background.
The band has a cool locking thing too. I can't explain it (or don't feel like it), but I like it.

Very nice watch. Timex is always a good, durable and reliable watch. I use this as my work watch and it gets a lot of use and is exposed to harsher work environments at times. As characteristic of most Timex watches, the T5H721 is a highly functional device that enables the wearer to perform a variety of functions from simple count-up timing to appointment reminders and historical workout data storage and recall. My sole issue with this watch is its rather bulky size; I have a large wrist and the watch still feels cumbersome to wear especially during athletic events. Not very sleek as the name implies, but quite versatile none the less.

Nice watch for a good price, it had a special offer so I only paid $25 for it, a few days later i saw it at Walmart for $26 dlls so not much of a great deal , if you are interested in an Ironman watch you might also want to check Walmart before purchasing it here. regarding the product itself, so far it's a good wach. Does what it says it does and nothing more or less.

It was such a hassle to try to keep time on my iPod while I jogged, so I purchased the Timex Ironman with iPod connection so that I could have my iPod on my arm (rather than in my hand) and control my time and iPod all from the watch. The first time I used it I loved it and now I refuse to run without it!
