A month ago, I purchased this inversion table because I have tried several approaches to relieving my back pain with minor relief - massage, structural integration, chiropractic, exercise-yoga and pilates, liniments, etc. In particular, I have trouble bending forward without pain. Recently, I started having pain shoot down my leg when I would bend. I was drawn to the inversion table because I related to the idea that decompressing my spine would potentially give my disks the change to realign if they were bulging. I picked this table because it seemed like a good value and the customer reviews were essentially glowing.

I watched the set up as my husband put it all together. It seemed easy. The directions were very good. But I must commend the other readers who have bad backs and put this together on their own. There were times when it seemed that having someone with a sturdy back would be optimal.

I invert on it a couple of times a day for just a couple to a few minutes each at about 135 degrees. To me, surprisingly, that angle has felt quite strong. When I feel that my body is resisting the pull of gravity, I come up, some times just for 10 seconds or so, or sometimes I just stop all together. But immediately, after the first time I was on it, I already noticed an improvement. Was it a shocking improvement? No. Do I still have back pain. Yes. Does it seem to be getting better? Yes. I get less shooting pain down my leg. I bend with a bit more ease. I feel more flexible along my sides.

I am happy I got this product. I believe it will continue to help me. It is sturdy and I feel completely safe. Only on occasion do I notice the discomfort of the ankle holds. I thought they were going to be a lot more painful. Sometimes I don't even wear socks. It just hasn't been a big deal for me. But that could also be because I don't invert the complete 180 degrees. I am 6'2" and I seem to be a bit tall for the table if I set it for my height. So I adjusted the height of it to 6'3" and I feel my head is more on the table than on the edge of the top of the table. It is a large piece of equipment and not something that you can easily tuck away. It takes up a considerable chuck of real estate.

What a disappointment. I had the previous model of this Timex and it worked great, until I broke it on accident. I thought this would be better because it's a newer model. I disregarded the previous reviews and thought they must have gotten the bad batches. I tried it once I got it, and I couldn't get a heart beat for the whole entire time I worked out. 45-minutes of cardio is long enough to get some kind of reading. I lost my trust on Timex that day. Good thing I tested it right away, I was able to return it to Amazon, with no problems.

This is a nice watch. Has all the features that I need. HOWEVER..... the color on the face definitely fades over time so you have a monochromatic grey rather than the light blue. ALSO the watch band falls apart long before the watch does. At present I have the watch band held together with electrical tape and staples. I am sure timex figures that most folks will just buy a new watch- but I am cheap and stubborn. I must admit that I have not contacted timex to inquire about a new watch band but off hand it does not appear to be easily replaced. If the watch band lasted as long as the watch I would be thrilled.

I was looking for a sporty, young-looking, low-profile, waterproof, unique digital watch. I only need it for day-to-day timekeeping and recreational swimming, so lap functions are not important to me. This watch was perfect for my needs--it's beautiful, fits my college style, keeps great time, and is waterproof (the instruction sheet is very specific about not pushing any buttons while the watch is in water). I've never had problems with condensation, water seepage, or anything malfunctioning, despite having worn it for recreational swimming in a chlorinated pool.

The watch, true to its name, is sleek. It's not bulky like other sports watches, and doesn't scream "Hardcore Runner!" which is great because I'm not one. On the other hand, it's also not tiny-dainty, which is good news for my bigger stature. The Indiglo-lit numbers are very bright and perfectly readable in low light. The default watch display shows time (with seconds), date (month and day), and day of the week. These are all easy to read at a glance.

The watch is truly dark purple and white, like in the picture, and feminine without being girly. I actually wear my watch with the face on the inside of my wrist because that's how my best friend in high school wore it--the band and clasp look good, and so far I haven't scratched the face.

Overall, I am very pleased with this watch!
